British No 1 Jack Draper forced to end 2025 season early due to persistent injury
Jack Draper has ended his 2025 season early due to a persistent arm injury that troubled him throughout the year.

The British No. 1 was forced to withdraw from his second-round match at the US Open late last month.
"Unfortunately, the injury to my arm is something I have to rest and means I'll be sitting out the rest of 2025," Draper said.
"It is very difficult for me to accept as I was building some incredible momentum this year and playing some great stuff.
"However I've been through this before - and I always come back stronger as I'm so motivated to fulfil my potential as a player."
Draper’s injury was diagnosed as bone bruising following his second-round loss to Marin Cilic at Wimbledon.
The 23-year-old returned at the US Open with a first-round victory over Federico Agustín Gómez, but had to withdraw ahead of his second-round clash with Zizou Bergs.
The decision to end his season comes at a high cost. Draper had been well-positioned to contend for a place at the season-ending World Tour Finals in Turin and had also committed to the lucrative 6 Kings Slam exhibition in Saudi Arabia next month.
Additionally, he will forfeit all the ranking points earned from winning last year’s Vienna Open, as he will be unable to defend his title.
