Team Spirit sweep The MongolZ to claim BLAST Bounty Season 2 crown in Malta
Team Spirit continued their dominant run of form by lifting the BLAST Bounty Season 2 trophy in Malta, defeating The MongolZ 3-0 in Sunday's Grand Final.

The CIS side completed the main stage without dropping a single map, brushing past Virtus.pro 2-0 and MOUZ 2-0 before dismantling The MongolZ in the final.
While the Mongolian squad put up a fight on Nuke and Mirage, they struggled to break through Spirit's resolute defence, allowing Spirit to close out the series in commanding fashion.
The victory earned Team Spirit more than $280,000 in prize money along with three BLAST Frequent Flyers points, a revenue-sharing initiative that rewards consistency across events.
The triumph also follows their success at Intel Extreme Masters Cologne earlier this summer, underlining their blistering start to the second half of 2025.
The event was also significant on a personal level for Ivan 'zweih' Gogin, who secured his first Tier 1 trophy just a month after joining the roster to replace benched veteran Boris 'magixx' Vorobyev. The 20-year-old slotted seamlessly into the line-up and proved a reliable performer throughout the event.
Meanwhile, BLAST Bounty Season 2 is expected to mark one of the final appearances for Myroslav 'zont1x' Plakhotia with Team Spirit.
Reports suggest that Andrey 'tN1R' Tatarinovich, formerly of HEROIC, will take his place in the starting five following the Esports World Cup.
