The tournament marks the last Major of the year and will play a crucial role in determining qualification for the Six Invitational 2026. Alongside valuable Global Standings points, teams will battle for a share of the $750,000 (~£560,000) prize pool.

According to an official announcement, the following teams have secured their places at the event after topping their regional leagues:

Team Secret, Team Falcons, Team BDS, G2 Esports, FaZe Clan, FURIA Esports, Ninjas in Pyjamas, w7m Esports, Spacestation Gaming, Shopify Rebellion, M80, Wildcard, Dplus, CAG Osaka, Weibo Gaming, and Enterprise Esports.

Europe's Team Falcons and G2 Esports enter as regional powerhouses after dominant runs through EML 2025 Stage 2, while FURIA Esports represent South America's strongest challenge. Weibo Gaming, meanwhile, have established themselves as Asia's top side following back-to-back Asia League 2025 titles.

The Major will open with a Swiss Stage, where all 16 teams compete in a single group. Winners advance to the upper bracket, while losers drop to the lower bracket; teams with 1–1 records after the second round will move to a middle bracket. All matches will be best-of-one, except for elimination games. Eight teams will advance to the Playoffs.

For the first time, the Playoffs will feature a double-elimination bracket, though detailed format specifics are yet to be revealed.

The final three days of competition — from November 14–16 — will be open to the public, giving fans the chance to witness the action live at the BMW Park Arena.
