Movistar KOI retain full roster for 2026 as Ibai Llanos outlines ambitious plans

Movistar KOI (MKOI) co-owner Ibai Llanos has confirmed that the organisation's entire 2025 League of Legends roster will remain intact for the 2026 season.

The announcement came via KOI's official Twitch channel, where Llanos was joined by streamer Sergio 'SergioFFerra' Salcedo to discuss the team's future.

According to Riot Games' Global Contract Database, every member of the current LEC squad is signed through to the end of 2026.

However, renewal discussions are ongoing with key figures including mid-laner Joseph 'Jojopyun' Pyun, jungler Javier 'Elyoya' Prades, support Álvaro 'Alvaro' Amo, and head coach Tomás 'Melzhet' Campelos.

Meanwhile, David 'Supa' Garcia and Alex 'Myrwn' Villarejo are not currently part of those talks.

The 2025 season marked a major step forward for MKOI, who captured the LEC Spring Split title and finished as runners-up in the Summer Split.

Their Worlds campaign ended at the hands of eventual champions T1, following elimination in the final Swiss Stage round.

Looking ahead, Llanos revealed that MKOI will expand their backroom staff by adding two new coaches and operate two academy teams in 2026: KOI Fenix, competing in Spain's tier-two league, and a new squad set to join the tier-three ecosystem.

The structure mirrors that of Karmine Corp, who field teams in both divisions of the LFL.
