LCK 2025 kicks off with record-breaking viewership and Faker's milestone
Opening week of the LCK 2025 Season drew an average viewership of 387,998, and the highly anticipated clash between T1 and Gen.G shattered the regular season viewership record.

Viewership peaked at 1.57 million viewers. This surpassed the previous record of 1.2 million, also set by T1 vs Gen.G during the LCK 2024 Spring Split.
The electrifying series featured a nail-biting 50-minute deciding game and held special significance as it marked the 12th anniversary of Lee 'Faker' Sang Hyeok's professional debut in 2013.
The legendary mid-laner continues to be a central figure in the league's growing global popularity.
Adding to the drama, T1's bot laner Lee 'Gumayusi' Min-hyung was reinstated into the starting lineup by CEO Joe Marsh, who overruled the coaching staff's original decision - a move that paid off in the high-stakes matchup.
While the LCK 2025 Season is off to a roaring start, the highest peak viewership of the year thus far - 1,907,634 - came from the LCK Cup 2025 matchup between T1 and Hanwha Life Esports. However, the LCK Cup is not officially part of the 2025 season.
