Hanwha Life Esports confirm Lee 'Gumayusi' Min-hyung signing
Hanwha Life Esports confirmed the signing T1 stalwart Lee 'Gumayusi' Min-hyung this week.
Gumayusi exits T1The bot-laner revealed he would depart T1 after seven years with the League of Legends outfit at the conclusion of the 2025 LoL World Championships. Following T1’s tense 3-2 win over KT Rolster, Hanwha Life Esports took to the socials to confirm the rumours.
"Hanwha Life Esports is pleased to announce the addition of Lee 'Gumayusi' Min-hyung as our new bot laner," read the post.
"With his exceptional performance and extensive experience, Gumayusi will help lead Hanwha Life Esports toward even greater heights. We kindly ask for your continued support as we begin our journey with Gumayusi in the 2026 season."
Gumayusi is one of the most storied LoL esports athletes, with three World Championship titles, including an MVP in the 2025 edition.
"I played for T1 because I believed that the best player belongs on T1," said the South Korean in a recent interview.
"Now I've proven myself, and I believe I'm the best AD carry in the world."
For Gumayusi, the move starts "a new journey of proving myself."
