Gen.G Esports confirm revamped Marvel Rivals roster for Ignite Stage 2

Gen.G Esports have confirmed their newly assembled active roster for Marvel Rivals, unveiling a seven-player line-up ahead of Ignite Stage 2.

The announcement comes after the organisation parted ways with four members of its original squad in August, signalling a fresh approach following a turbulent start to the competitive season.

The roster now features Choi 'Brownie' Min-gi as Duellist, Sin 'CHOPPA' Sin Jae-hyeon as Vanguard, and Jung 'Snake' Rae-won as Strategist.

They are joined by three high-profile newcomers: Nick 'False' Wiseman, Park 'Felix' Min-hyeong, and 'Hoodie', along with Salvatore 'Monzter' Donato.

False and Monzter will serve as Vanguards, while Felix adds further depth in the Strategist role and Hoodie bolsters the team's Duellist options.

Both Felix and Monzter arrive with international experience. Felix previously competed across the EMEA region with organisations such as Ex Oblivionne, while Monzter made his name in the North American scene as part of Citadel Gaming's inaugural line-up.

Their additions, combined with the versatility of the new roster, suggest Gen.G are aiming for a stronger balance of tactical play and frontline presence.

The rebuild follows a mixed record earlier this year. Gen.G's original roster achieved runner-up status in Stage 1 Asia after a narrow 3-4 loss to REJECT in the Grand Finals, but faltered at the Mid-Season Finals, where defeats to ENVY and Nova Esports saw them become the first team eliminated in the Play-In Stage.
