Fortnite Reload Cup cancelled in OCE and ASIA due to lobby bug
Epic Games has cancelled the Fortnite Reload Performance Evaluation Cup in the Oceania (OCE) and Asia regions following the discovery of a disruptive in-game bug.

The announcement was made via the official Fortnite Status account on X on 9 April 2025.
The issue, which causes bots to unexpectedly fill up tournament lobbies, has rendered the cup unplayable in the affected regions.
At present, only OCE and ASIA are impacted, but Epic has warned that if the problem remains unresolved, it could eventually affect upcoming tournaments in Europe (EU) and North America (NA) as well.
The Fortnite Reload game mode is a high-tempo variant of Fortnite’s standard battle royale.
Featuring 40-player squad-based matches on a smaller map, it introduces a unique reboot mechanic that allows eliminated teams to return to the game - so long as one squadmate remains alive. This mechanic is disabled during the final stages of each match.
The cancelled cup was not a major competitive event like the FNCS 2025, but rather a testing ground for Epic to evaluate game performance and tournament systems.
With a significantly smaller prize pool and less prestige, the Performance Evaluation Cup was designed to fine-tune gameplay and infrastructure under live conditions.
