Dota 2: MOUZ beat Team Spirit to win PGL Wallachia Season 6
MOUZ have been crowned champions of PGL Wallachia Season 6 after a gripping 3-2 victory over tournament favourites Team Spirit in the Grand Final.
mouz-esports16The event, staged in Bucharest, Romania from 15-23 November 2025, featured 16 elite teams battling for a 1m USD prize pool, with MOUZ securing the largest share following their remarkable lower-bracket surge.
Having reached the event through the Western Europe Closed Qualifier, MOUZ made an immediate impact in the group stage. They recorded wins over NAVI, Xtreme Gaming, and Roar Gaming, with their only setback coming against Team Spirit. Those results earned them a place among the eight teams advancing to the playoffs.
The knockout stage began awkwardly for MOUZ, who fell 2-1 to PARAVISION in the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals. From there, however, they embarked on a stirring recovery run.
HEROIC, OG Esports, BetBoom Team, and Season 4 winners Team Liquid all fell to MOUZ in the Lower Bracket as the squad built unstoppable momentum en route to the final.
The Grand Final provided a dramatic rematch with Team Spirit. Spirit struck first, inspired by a standout performance from Illya 'Yatoro' Mulyarchuk, who dealt 53.7k damage with Drow Ranger on the opening map.
MOUZ responded with victories on maps two and three, before Spirit forced a decider by taking map four. In the climactic fifth game, Miroslav 'BOOM' Bican delivered 12 eliminations on Timbersaw to propel MOUZ to the title.
Season 7 of PGL Wallachia will return to Bucharest from 5-15 March 2025, again featuring 16 teams and a 1m USD prize pool.
