100 Thieves have booked their place at the League of Legends Worlds 2025 in China following a dominant performance in the LTA Regional Championship.
100-thieves16The North American squad triumphed over RED Canids in a clean 3–0 sweep during the Lower Bracket Semi-finals on September 21st, keeping their championship hopes alive.
Prior to this clash, 100 Thieves had advanced past paiN Gaming in the Lower Bracket Quarterfinals, while RED Canids eliminated Shopify Rebellion to set up the pivotal encounter.
In the decisive series, standout performances included Lim 'Quid' Hyeon-seung, who amassed 15 eliminations and dealt 47,309 damage as Sylas in the second game.
Victor 'FBI' Huang also impressed, contributing 20 assists on Senna during the same match, showcasing the team's coordinated play and tactical depth.
With the victory, 100 Thieves now advance to the Lower Bracket Finals, where they will face Keyd Stars.
A win there would propel them to the tournament Grand Finals, potentially against FlyQuest, depending on the outcome of the Upper Bracket.
The LTA Regional Championship remains ongoing, featuring 16 of the world's best teams vying for a share of the $5,000,000 prize pool, with the eventual champions set to claim the largest portion.
