Report: Bayern Munich linked with surprise Jadon Sancho move
Bayern Munich are reportedly intensifying their hunt for a dynamic winger following Leroy Sane's move to Galatasaray, and Jadon Sancho has emerged as a prime target.

The former Borussia Dortmund star, currently at Manchester United, could be set for a sensational return to the Bundesliga, with Bayern ready to act swiftly.
Jurgen Koers, a journalist for Ruhr Nachrichten, highlighted Bayern's interest in the 25-year-old Englishman. "All Dortmund fans must be strong now: I can very well imagine that Bayern Munich will try everything to get Jadon Sancho," Koers said on the RN podcast.
He pointed to Sancho's familiarity with the Bundesliga, his tactical awareness, and his relatively low transfer fee as key factors. "He's comparatively cheap, has to go elsewhere, and knows the league. From Bayern's perspective, that's relatively simple," Koers added.
Sancho's potential move comes as Bayern aim to fill the void left by Sane on the left flank. Despite securing Michael Olise for the right wing, the Bavarians are eager to bolster their attacking options.
Koers noted the club's urgency, stating, "Bayern have to present someone now – and they've already tried to get Sancho on several occasions in the past."
Manchester United, keen to offload Sancho after a turbulent spell, are reportedly open to offers around 14.6 million pounds, a significant loss from the 73 million pounds they paid Dortmund in 2021.
The winger's struggles at Old Trafford, including a public falling-out with former manager Erik ten Hag and a loan stint at Chelsea last season, have fueled speculation about his next move.
However, Bayern face competition from Juventus, who are pushing hard to secure Sancho's signature. Recent reports suggest the Italian giants have proposed a swap deal involving midfielder Douglas Luiz, with negotiations ongoing.
Posts on X indicate Juventus remain confident despite challenges over Sancho's 10 million euros annual salary. "Juventus have not sent a formal bid to Manchester United for Jadon Sancho so far, but talks took place with his agents," transfer expert Fabrizio Romano posted recently, adding that salary discussions could complicate matters.
Sancho's potential return to Germany, where he thrived at Dortmund, could be a career-defining move. His pace, dribbling, and playmaking ability make him an ideal fit for Bayern's high-intensity style under coach Vincent Kompany. Yet, with Juventus in the race, Bayern must act decisively to land their man.
For now, the transfer saga is heating up, and football fans are eagerly awaiting the next chapter in Sancho's journey. Will he don the red of Bavaria or head to Turin? The coming weeks will tell.
