Arsenal set to part ways with Leandro Trossard amid Noni Madueke pursuit
In what could mark the beginning of a reshuffle in North London, Arsenal are reportedly prepared to offload Belgian forward Leandro Trossard, with Turkish giants Fenerbahce emerging as the likely destination.

According to The Times, Trossard has already agreed to personal terms with Fenerbahce, and Arsenal are expected to demand a transfer fee in the region of 20 million pounds for the 30-year-old. The Turkish club are said to be offering a three-year deal as they look to bolster their attacking options ahead of the new season.
Trossard's time at Arsenal has been productive, if somewhat understated. Since making the switch from Brighton in January 2023, the versatile attacker has tallied 28 goals across 124 appearances in all competitions. His tactical flexibility and knack for popping up with crucial goals made him a useful squad player under Mikel Arteta, but with Arsenal's ambitions intensifying, the Gunners may be looking to refresh their forward line.
The Belgian's potential departure coincides with Arsenal's pursuit of Chelsea winger Noni Madueke. The 22-year-old England international is reportedly close to sealing a move to the Emirates in a deal believed to be worth around 50 million pounds.
While Madueke has largely featured on the right flank during his stint at Chelsea, Arsenal view him as a dynamic wide forward capable of operating across the front three - including in Trossard's preferred left-wing role. Should the move go through, he would likely provide direct competition for Gabriel Martinelli while adding further depth to Arsenal's attacking arsenal.
The move also signals Arteta's desire to inject more youth and explosiveness into his squad as the club continues its push to dethrone Manchester City in the Premier League and go deep in the Champions League. Offloading Trossard would not only help balance the books but could also clear a path for a younger, high-upside talent like Madueke to flourish.
For Trossard, the switch to Fenerbahce may offer a chance to play a more central role as he enters the latter stages of his career - potentially leading the line for a club with serious domestic and European ambitions of their own.
As Arsenal's transfer activity heats up, Trossard's exit may be just the first of several moves aimed at fine-tuning the squad for a title challenge in the upcoming season.
