Held in Vancouver, the best-of-five series saw the two Korean powerhouses trade blows without either side managing back-to-back wins.

Gen.G drew first blood with a 36-minute win on red side, but T1 struck back quickly, taking Game 2 in just 28 minutes.

The pattern continued as Gen.G secured Game 3 in 37 minutes before T1 forced a decider with a gruelling 46-minute Game 4 - the longest of the match. Gen.G sealed the deal in Game 5, winning in 31 minutes from blue side.

Gen.G's standout performer was veteran bot laner Park 'Ruler' Jae-hyuk, who delivered a sharp 28/7/26 K-D-A across the series. Despite having the fewest assists on his team, his kills proved pivotal.

Support Joo 'Duro' Min-kyu led the assist charts with 57. T1's Lee 'Gumayusi' Min-hyeong put up strong numbers as well, posting a 30/12/20 K-D-A.

With the win, Gen.G advance directly to the grand final, earning two days of rest and a shot at the 500,000-dollar top prize.

The tournament boasts a total prize pool of 2 million dollars, and the winner will also secure qualification for this autumn's 5-million-dollar League of Legends World Championship in China.
