Faker and League of Legends win big at Esports Decade Awards

    As part of the ongoing 2025 Esports World Cup in Saudi Arabia, officials hosted a one-off Esports Decade Awards in Riyadh.

    The awards highlighted the titles, players, teams and organisations that have shaped the esports industry over the last decade. According to the organisers, fans cast nearly 9.8 million votes.

    League of Legends was named the game of the decade, while the title's most prominent player, legend Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok, was named the Esports PC Player of the Decade.
