EA has launched two global tournaments—the Battlefield REDSEC Elite Series and REDSEC Open Series—both starting in early December.

The Elite Series, announced on November 20th, 2025, will see 50 captains from the Americas, EMEA, and APAC draft squads of four. Teams will compete in Battle Royale and Gauntlet modes, with points awarded for performance. Each Qualifying Match Day includes six BR games, with the top eight advancing to a Gauntlet round. After three Qualifying Match Days, the top 25 teams per region progress to the online season finals.

Prize pools include $50,000 per Americas qualifier and $500,000 for its finals, while EMEA and APAC feature $20,000 qualifiers and $285,000 finals. The first match day is December 10th, with regional finals on December 18th.

Running alongside it, the Open Series lets all players enter. The top 250 teams—based on ten Battle Royale and ten Gauntlet matches over three days—advance to the January 17th, 2026 finals, where $10,000 per region is on offer. The first Open Series match day is December 12th.
