Zack Steffen makes move from Man City to Colorado Rapids in MLS transfer deal

Steffen, 28, joined City during the summer of 2019 from the Columbus Crew and went on to make 21 appearances in all competitions, playing in the 2021 Carabao Cup final win over Tottenham.
Last season, Steffen was on loan at Middlesbrough, helping them reach the Sky Bet Championship play-offs.
The Rapids confirmed Steffen had signed a three-year contract through 2026 with a club option for an additional year, having acquired his discovery rights from the New England Revolution in exchange for 50,000 US dollars (£39,400) in 2024 General Allocation Money.
"We are incredibly happy to bring Zack to the club. He is a top player with big experiences, and we know he will add so much to our group," said Rapids head coach Chris Armas on the club's website.
"His quality, leadership and winning mentality will help us for years to come."
