Report: Newcastle want Mohammed Kudus, after missing out on Bryan Mbeumo
Mohammed Kudus has emerged as a central figure in the Premier League's transfer market, with Newcastle United leading the chase for the Ghanaian international.

Kudus, who enjoyed a standout debut season with West Ham United, has reportedly become a top priority for Newcastle boss Eddie Howe.
The Magpies are looking to significantly strengthen their squad as they prepare for a Champions League return, and Kudus's impressive performances have positioned him as a key target.
West Ham, facing a potential squad overhaul, are understood to be open to cashing in on Kudus to generate funds for their own transfer dealings.
Newcastle sees Kudus as a versatile attacking option, capable of playing in various roles across the front line, a quality highly valued by Howe as he seeks to bolster his team's offensive prowess.
While Newcastle focuses on Kudus, Manchester United are reportedly nearing a deal for Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo. The Cameroon international has been a long-standing target for several top clubs, including previous interest from Newcastle and Arsenal.
However, it now appears that the Red Devils are in pole position to secure his signature, with negotiations reportedly progressing well.
Interestingly, Mbeumo was once on Newcastle's radar before the Tyneside club shifted its focus to Kudus.
Arsenal had also shown interest in Mbeumo earlier this year but have since pursued other targets, leaving the path clear for Manchester United.
