Leeds United are pushing to sign Brazilian winger Igor Paixao from Feyenoord, having submitted a firm offer worth approximately 30 million euros.

The bid, which is heavily incentivised with performance-related bonuses, surpasses those tabled by Marseille and Roma. Feyenoord, who value the 24-year-old at between 35m and 40m euros, are considering the offer and reportedly view it favourably.

The deal may be edging closer, with Paixao now favouring a move to Elland Road following further talks between Leeds, his entourage, and Feyenoord.

As a further indication of potential movement, Feyenoord are eyeing a replacement from Rangers - Leeds' sister club under the 49ers Enterprises ownership.

Paixao, currently playing for the Dutch champions, would join a major recruitment drive by Leeds as they seek to reinforce their squad for a return to the Premier League.

The Whites have already signed six players this summer, spending around 60 million pounds, and further additions are expected.

One of those imminent additions is Brazilian goalkeeper Lucas Perri. A deal with Lyon is in its final stages, and the 6ft 5in shot-stopper is set to become Leeds' seventh signing of the summer.

Once confirmed, Perri will also become the most expensive signing in the club's history, underscoring Leeds' ambition and financial commitment in the transfer market.
