Paris Saint-Germain to pursue Victor Osimhen if Kylian Mbappe leaves

Should Kylian Mbappe depart PSG this summer, Napoli's Victor Osimhen is reportedly their main transfer objective. </p>

Mbappe has openly stated his intention to leave PSG on a free transfer when his contract expires in June 2024. However, PSG aim to sell him this summer if he does not agree to a new deal with the club. </p>

The latest edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, published on Sunday, confirms that the Nigeria international will be PSG's primary target should Mbappe leave. </p>

Journalist Maurizio Nicita, in the newspaper's sixth page, reveals that Napoli have already turned down a €100m bid from PSG and have set their asking price at €180m. </p>

If Mbappe's summer transfer materialises, it will further bolster PSG's finances, potentially enabling them to meet Napoli's demands. </p>

Despite the interest from PSG, Napoli remain optimistic about extending Osimhen's contract beyond 2025, and they reportedly maintain a good relationship with the player's agent, Roberto Calenda. </p>

As per the report, if Osimhen departs, Lille forward Jonathan David is Napoli's primary target. </p>
