Oliver Khan would convince Thomas Muller not to leave Bayern Munich

Oliver Kahn insists Thomas Muller won't part ways with Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich despite recent rumours that he is considering his options.

Muller is reportedly contemplating his future at Bayern due to his dissatisfaction with his playing time under manager Thomas Tuchel.

Muller has started only one of Die Roten's last four games.

Nevertheless, Kahn cannot envision the 33-year-old departing from Bayern in any situation.

"That won't happen," Kahn told Sport Bild.

"If it ever came to that, I would talk him out of it in no uncertain terms. Thomas is fit, never injured and has an incredibly strong character.

"He is incredibly important to the whole team. I'm sure Thomas will play many more games for us."

Muller has made 24 Bundesliga appearances this season, scoring six goals and providing seven assists.
