It will be great to see if they will do better against Germany than they did against Spain.
Germany's World Cup hopes are still alive after a more 'German-like' performance against Spain.

Germany's late equaliser from replacement Niclas Fullkrug gave them a well-deserved 1-1 draw that increases their prospects of making it out of the group in a match between two of Europe's giants. This outcome gives them a chance, even if it is still unclear whether they will do better against Costa Rica than they did against Spain.
Costa Rica's victory in their last match has made Group E much more competitive, and they can still qualify for the next round with a draw as long as Spain beat Japan in the other match.
For Germany, only a win will do, and they also need some help from Spain. But things get more complicated if Japan earn a draw, as goal difference and goals scored will become the deciding factor. Based on our analysis, we predict that Germany will win.
