They finished first in the group, though, only on goal difference ahead of Switzerland. With that first objective safely accomplished, the South Americans can move on to the more important games in the tournament.
Although this looks like one of the mismatches of the first knockout round, Brazil cannot afford to be complacent against a side that never gives up.
They had to dig deep to qualify against all odds and will see this game as a free hit against the tournament favourites. Brazil will surely rebound from their shock defeat by Cameroon.
After recuperating from an ankle injury, Brazil striker Neymar is expected to play for the five-time World Cup champions against South Korea on Monday.
