Fabio Carvalho to join Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig on a season-long loan from Liverpool

Bundesliga club RB Leipzig are finalising a deal to take Fabio Carvalho on a season-long loan from Premier League side Liverpool, according to reports. </p>

The talented 20-year-old from Portugal made 13 appearances for the Reds last season but remains unlikely to be a regular starter. </p>

<p>

The sensational youngster made his Premier League debut at the age of 18 and had 18 goal involvements in 36 Championship appearances for Fulham. </p>

Reports suggest that RB Leipzig were willing to cough up the cash to sign Carvalho on a permanent deal, but Jurgen Klopp was not agreeable. </p>

Earlier this season, Klopp praised his "exceptional" attitude and labelled him "super-super talented" as he praised his commitment and patience. </p>

The young forward is rated very highly at Anfield and is expected to break through in the next 48 months. </p>

Negotiations are currently in their final stages and Carvalho is expected to join RB Leipzig loan until the end of the 2023/24 season. </p>

Crucially, there is no option to buy included in the deal, so he will return to Anfield next summer. </p>
