Meanwhile, West Ham’s reward for beating Sevilla 2-1 on aggregate in the last-16 is a tie against Lyon.

Rangers, who knocked Red Star Belgrade out of the competition in the last round, will face Portuguese outfit Braga. RB Leipzig v Atalanta makes up the draw.

West Ham have been drawn against French opposition for the first time in a major European competition and could be awarded with a dream tie against Barcelona in the semi-finals should they progress.

The first leg of that semi-final would take place at the Hammers’ London Stadium.

Meanwhile, should Rangers beat Braga, they’ll face the winner of the RB Leipzig v Atalanta clash.

The quarter-finals will be over two legs which will take place on successive Thursdays, April 7 and April 14.

The semi-finals will take place on April 28 and May 5, again over two legs, with the Europa League final being hosted at Sevilla's Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium on Wednesday, May 18.
