Argentine midfielder Maximo Perrone leaves Man City to join Como
Manchester City midfielder Maximo Perrone has completed a permanent move to Serie A side Como in a deal worth up to 15 million euros.

The agreement includes a 30 per cent sell-on clause in favour of City, as well as a buy-back option, giving the Premier League champions a measure of control over the Argentine's future.
Perrone, 22, joined City from Velez Sarsfield in January 2023 for a reported fee of around 8 million pounds. Despite limited opportunities in Manchester - making just two senior appearances - the midfielder gained valuable experience during loan spells at La Liga side Las Palmas and more recently at Como, where he impressed during the 2023-24 campaign under the guidance of head coach Cesc Fabregas.
Perrone featured 26 times for the Italian club last season, helping them to a 10th-place finish in their first season back in Serie A after more than two decades outside the top flight.
His move becomes part of a broader summer recruitment strategy by Como, who have been active in the market as they look to consolidate their top-flight status. The club has also secured the signings of Jesus Rodríguez from Real Betis, Nicolas Kuhn from Celtic, Martin Baturina from Dinamo Zagreb, and Jayden Addai from AZ Alkmaar.
The transfer marks a notable step in Perrone's development, as he aims to continue his progress with consistent first-team football in one of Europe's top leagues.
