Valorant Champions Tour: Gen.G clinches playoffs, Boom Esports tops group
The fourth week of the Valorant Champions Tour Pacific Stage 1 delivered major upsets and dramatic shifts in group standings at the Sangam SOOP Colosseum, Seoul.

The previously unbeaten giants, DRX and T1, both suffered their first defeats of the stage, intensifying the playoff race and reshuffling group dynamics.
In Group Alpha, DRX faced a setback on Saturday, falling to Boom Esports in a nail-biting three-set thriller.
With a key player absent due to personal reasons, DRX battled valiantly, even pushing one set into overtime, but ultimately fell short in the final moments. The result ended DRX's unbeaten run and allowed Boom Esports to claim the top spot in the group.
Meanwhile, Gen.G continued their impressive rise in the same group, securing a playoff berth after a third consecutive win.
Now boasting a 3–1 record, Gen.G have created a comfortable cushion above the lower-ranked sides and are now in serious contention for the Group Alpha top seed.
Over in Group Omega, Sunday brought another upset as T1 were narrowly defeated by RRQ.
T1 started strong with standout individual plays in the opening set but lost momentum as the match progressed.
Despite a balanced second set and a brief lead on map Lotus, T1 faltered, losing by a single set-point and ultimately conceding their first loss of the stage. The result sees them slip behind RRQ in the group standings.
