Sentinels and Gen.G advance to playoffs at VALORANT Masters Toronto
The third day of VALORANT Masters Toronto saw the conclusion of Swiss Stage action, with Sentinels and Gen.G Esports securing spots in the playoffs after hard-fought victories.

In the day's opening match, Sentinels edged past Bilibili Gaming (BLG) 2-1. BLG struck first on Icebox, their map pick, winning 13-9 thanks to standout performances from Wang 'whz' Haozhe on Jett and Wang 'rushia' Xiaojie on Harbor.
Despite BLG's 8-4 lead at half-time and early momentum, Sentinels' double-initiator setup began to show promise.
Map two, Lotus, flipped the narrative. Although BLG won the pistol round, Sentinels took control with clean utility usage on attack, closing it out 13-5.
The decider, also on Lotus, was a tense affair. BLG led 7-5 at half-time after a dominant first half filled with bold plays and confident map control.
However, Sentinels' discipline and ability to punish overextensions turned the tide, eventually sealing a 13-9 win in a map where micro-decisions proved decisive.
In the second match, Gen.G Esports outclassed Paper Rex 2-0. On Ascent, Gen.G's map pick, PRX led 8-4 at the break but dropped both pistol rounds and ultimately fell 13-11. Gen.G secured the final round with a clutch Stinger half-buy.
Icebox was a one-sided affair as Gen.G dismantled PRX 13-3, demonstrating comprehensive preparation against PRX's signature aggression.
Kim 't3xture' Na-ra was the standout performer of the day, posting a 45/25 K/D and a 296 ACS, spearheading Gen.G's surge into the playoffs.
