League of Legends players want Riot to pardon more for certain disconnects

    Some players of League of Legends would like Riot to pardon certain AFKers when circumstances are beyond their control.

    In a League subreddit, players discussed the idea of forgiving others who leave the game due to something like a power outage.

    At the moment, AFKers are indiscriminately punished no matter the circumstances of their disconnection.

    "I think it would [be] perfectly reasonable if we had the option to pardon him [a player who lost their power for 15 minutes], after all it's only us who he affected, and not the algorithm that gave him the penalty," the Reddit post reads.

    Under the current system, players who disconnect only have two minutes to return before they are penalised.
