FURIA, 3DMAX and paiN shine as BLAST.tv Austin Major heats up
The BLAST.tv Austin Major, the latest marquee event in the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive calendar, continues to captivate fans with its intense action and dramatic upsets.

Featuring a 1.25-million-dollar prize pool, the tournament kicked off with 32 teams and now nears its thrilling conclusion ahead of the grand final on 22 June.
In Group Stage 2, three teams stood out in the critical Round 4 High Matches. Brazilian squad FURIA overcame a shaky start to defeat B8 2-1. After losing Mirage 13-3, they bounced back on Train (13-6) and Dust II (13-7).
Latvian rifler Mareks 'YEKINDAR' Gaļinskis led all players with 45 kills, while Kazakhstan's Danil 'molodoy' Golubenko contributed 39 kills and a +10 K/D.
French organisation 3DMAX stunned FaZe Clan with a 2-0 sweep. Dominant on Nuke (13-8) and Inferno (13-9), 3DMAX's Pierre 'Ex3rcice' Bulinge delivered a standout performance with 41 kills and a +18 K/D differential.
paiN Gaming also impressed, dispatching Lynn Vision Gaming 2-0 with confident wins on Dust II (13-8) and Nuke (13-4). Chilean star David 'dav1deuS' Tapia Maldonado tallied 42 kills and a +25 K/D.
Meanwhile, the tournament bid farewell to M80, TYLOO, and Team Falcons, all eliminated in the Round 4 Low Matches.
