EU West Dota 2 teams sail through Berlin Major group stage

    All Western Europe teams grabbed spots in the upper bracket after the conclusion of the Dota 2 Berlin Major's group stage.

    Unfortunately, two out of three Southeast Asia teams were eliminated, a letdown after an exciting spring tour.

    Execration and Team SMG, despite showing improvement in the regular season, finished at the bottom of their groups.

    TSM, NA's top-seeded team, also crashed out, along with teams from South America, Eastern Europe, and China.

    TSM's early exit is significant, as they previously defeated Shopify Rebellion on home turf.

    A quick departure from a Major means missing out on prize money and Dota Pro Circuit points.

    TSM could still qualify for The International 2023 by performing well domestically, but a single slip-up could derail their plans. The playoffs started on May 1.
