Esports World Cup: The MongolZ dominate to claim CS2 crown
The MongolZ earned a perfect clean sweep of Aurora in the Counter-Strike 2 grand final at the Esports World Cup.

The Mongolian team was too strong for the Turkish team, winning Sunday’s grand final 3-0 with some comprehensive scorelines.
Azbayar "Senzu" Munkhbold led the charge with +17 KD, while the MongolZ's earned a further 152 frags combined from Sodbayar "Techno" Munkhbold, Garidmagnai "bLitz" Byambasuren and Ayush "mzinho" Batbold.
The grand final opened with a nail-biting match on Mirage. The MongolZ edged the first half 7:5, but Aurora fought back after the switch, forcing overtime. In the extra rounds, the MongolZ held their nerve, taking it 4:2 for a 16:14 victory.
On Dust2, The MongolZ dictated the pace from start to finish. A 7:5 first half put them in control, and they carried the momentum through to close 13:9, extending their lead to 2:0 in the series.
The decider was a showcase of dominance from the MongolZ. They stormed to a 9:3 halftime lead and finished the job 13:4, sweeping the series 3:0 and securing the title in commanding fashion.
The Mongolians take home $500,000, while Techno was also awarded an extra $10,000 for the event after winning the MVP award.
