CS2: BLAST Premier Rivals changes location from Monterrey to Copenhagen
BLAST Premier Rivals, originally set to take place in Monterrey, Mexico, has been relocated to Copenhagen, Denmark, due to unforeseen logistical challenges.

The move comes as teams and organisers faced difficulties navigating a packed tournament schedule and late invite announcements.
A major concern was the tournament's proximity to IEM Melbourne, which concludes on 27 April. Many teams would have struggled with the long-haul travel from Australia to Mexico, potentially impacting participation and performance.
As a result, BLAST made the decision to shift the event to a more accessible location in Copenhagen.
The sudden venue change has disrupted travel and accommodation plans for fans who had arranged to attend in Monterrey.
While BLAST has acknowledged the inconvenience, they have assured fans that the tournament's format and stakes remain unchanged.
BLAST Premier Rivals will feature eight teams battling for a share of the 1 million-dollar prize pool. Four teams will qualify via the Valve Global Ranking System (VRS), while four wildcard teams will represent different regions. The event will follow a best-of-three (BO3) GSL format for playoff qualification.
Beyond the prize pool, the tournament winner will receive two Frequent Flyers Program (FFP) points, which contribute to BLAST's 2 million dollars revenue share initiative.
