Pakistan kicked off their Asia Cup campaign with big victory after thrashing Oman by 93 runs in Dubai.

After winning the toss and opting to bat, Pakistan posted a total of 160-7 in their 20 overs with Mohammad Haris top-scoring with 66 from 43 balls.
There were further contributions from opener Sahibzada Farhan, who hit 29, and Fakhar Zaman scoring 23 not out while Mohammad Nawaz struck a quick-fire 19 at the end.
Aamir Kaleem (3-31) and Shah Faisal (3-34) were the pick of the bowlers for Oman as they restricted Pakistan to a par total.
Oman though though lost wickets at regular intervals in the run-chase and were eventually bowled out for just 67 in 16.4 overs.
Faheem Ashraf, Sufiyan Muqeem and Saim Ayub took two wickets apiece as Pakistan completed a comfortable victory.
