Lower back stress fracture puts Jamie Overton out of England contention
Surrey and England fast bowler Jamie Overton is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering a stress fracture to his lower back.

Overton made his Test debut against New Zealand at Headingley last June and was an unused squad member in the England side that claimed a historic 3-0 series win in Pakistan before Christmas.
He has been forced to cut short a stay in the United Arab Emirates, where he was due to play for Gulf Giants in the International League T20, after being diagnosed with a lumbar stress fracture.
His county said in a statement: "Surrey County Cricket Club can confirm an injury to fast bowler Jamie Overton.
"Jamie, who had been in the UAE, has returned to the UK and further investigations have - as of 2pm on Wednesday - revealed that he has sustained a stress fracture of the lumbar spine.
"He will now begin a period of rehabilitation."
