An unbeaten 38-run knock by Mehidy Hasan Miraz led Bangladesh to victory over India by one wicket in the first ODI of the three-match series

Bangladesh won the toss and opted to field. The Indian team was bowled out for 186, with KL Rahul being the top scorer with 73 runs. Shakib Al-Hasan took five wickets.
Chasing 187, Bangladesh lost wickets in quick succession and were nine down before Mehidy Hasan Miraz took the game over the line with one wicket and four overs in hand.
KL Rahul dropped Mehidy Hasan Miraz when he was 15. Needing 50 to win and set a record partnership of 51 runs for the 10th wicket with Mustafizur Rahman.
Mohammed Siraj took three wickets for India, while Kuldeep Sen and Washington Sundar took two wickets each.
