England call up Liam Dawson to replace injured spinner Shoaib Bashir
Liam Dawson is set to make his return to the England Test side following an eight-year hiatus after being called up to replace injured spinner Shoaib Bashir for the remainder of the series against India.

Bashir was ruled out of the final two Test matches of the five-match series with a fractured finger on his left hand suffered in the victory at Lord's.
The 35-year-old Dawson has played in just three Tests, the last of which came against South Africa in Nottingham in 2017, and has been a consistent performer for Hampshire in English county cricket.
In the County Championship this season, he has played all nine games for Hampshire to collect 21 wickets at an average of 40.04 while he has also collected 11 wickets in ten games in the T20 Blast.
England national selector Luke Wright said in an ECB statement: "Liam Dawson deserves his call-up. He has been in outstanding form in the County Championship and consistently puts in strong performances for Hampshire."
England squad for fourth Test against India: Ben Stokes (captain), Jofra Archer, Gus Atkinson, Jacob Bethell, Harry Brook, Brydon Carse, Zak Crawley, Liam Dawson, Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope, Joe Root, Jamie Smith, Josh Tongue, Chris Woakes
