England add Jofra Archer to Test squad ahead of second match against India
Jofra Archer could make his first Test appearance in more than four years after the fast bowler was added to England's squad ahead of the second game of the series against India.

The paceman played the last of his 13 Tests in February 2021 but could add to that in the remainder of the five-match series against India with the second match starting at Edgbaston on Wednesday.
Archer made his first appearance in red-ball cricket since May 2021 when he lined up for Sussex against Durham in a First-Class fixture last week, bowling 18 overs and returning figures of 1-32.
The 30-year-old has been sidelined with multiple elbow injuries and and then a back stress fracture and has made sporadic appearances for England in white-ball cricket.
England took a 1-0 lead in the five-match Test series against India after a victory at Headingley and may look to rotate their fast bowlers for the remainder of the series.
Gus Atkinson and Mark Wood are also absent through injuries with Josh Tongue, Chris Woakes and Brydon Carse playing in the series opener against India.
Woakes, playing his first Test since December, had figures of 1-148 but might be expected to find greater rhythm after missing the start of the season with an ankle injury.
England Test squad: Ben Stokes (captain), Jofra Archer, Shoaib Bashir, Jacob Bethell, Harry Brook, Brydon Carse, Sam Cook, Zak Crawley, Ben Duckett, Jamie Overton, Ollie Pope, Joe Root, Jamie Smith, Josh Tongue, Chris Woakes
