Delhi Capitals (DC) unveiled a new jersey ahead
On Thursday, Delhi Capitals (DC) unveiled a new jersey ahead of their IPL 2022 game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Wankhede Stadium. They will be wearing a rainbow-coloured jersey in contrast to their primary blue-red colour jersey.

Franchise took on Twitter to tweet, "Kicking off our 2nd half of #IPL2022 on a colourful note ? Special threads being donned by our DC boys tonight in #DCvKKR ? #YehHaiNayiDilli | #TATAIPL | #IPL | #DelhiCapitals."
The jersey has been specially designed to mark the partnership between JSW Paints and Inspire Institute of Sports (IIS) Vijaynagar, JSW Paints being part of JSW Group that owns Delhi Capitals. On the other hand, IIS is a unique initiative by JSW Group. It is India's first privately funded High-Performance Training Centre that trains young athletes of various disciplines.
The funds raised from the rainbow-coloured jersey will be used to nurture the future sporting stars of India. The franchise also announced, "This initiative gives Delhi Capitals' fans a unique opportunity to own the match-worn and signed shirts of their favourite players all whilst raising funds for charity."
The team will look to add these colours to their performance and get back on the winning ways.
