Bangladesh start Asia Cup on a winning note after overcoming Hong Kong
Litton Das struck 59 from 39 balls to help Bangladesh start their Asia Cup campaign on a winning note after a seven-wicket victory against Hong Kong in Abu Dhabi.

Chasing a target of 144, Bangladesh openers Parvez Hossain Emon (19) and Tanzid Hasan (14) added 24 for the first wicket inside three overs.
Captain Litton then took control of the innings and steered the run-chase and together with Towhid Hridoy (35 not out) made sure the Tigers reached the target in 17.4 overs.
Hong Kong had earlier reached a total of 143-7 with Nizakat Khan top-scoring with 42 from 40 balls while skipper Yasim Murtaza contributed 28 off 19 deliveries.
Taskin Ahmed, Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Rishad Hossain were the pick of the Bangladesh bowlers with the trio taking two wickets apiece.
The Asia Cup continues on Friday when Pakistan take on Oman in Dubai.
